Azi-Express LWD geosteering assembly (azimuth resistivity) is an accurate geosteering tool researched and developed by Shenkai with independent intellectual property rights in the special research of national major scientific instrument. Highly Integrated measurement parameters such as azimuth positive rate, azimuth gamma, compensated positive rate, annulus pressure and borehole temperature in one drill.


Azimuth resistivity is mainly used in complex formations and thin reservoirs. It provides real-time edge positioning, reservoir tracking, and oil-water interface detection while drilling to achieve accurate geosteering and wellbore trajectory optimization. It also helps with water saturation analysis, well cleaning, kick and loss prediction to ensure that the drill tool travels through the reservoir in the best position, improving the rate of penetration, individual well production, and drilling safety
