The high-capacity shear preventer adopts a large cylinder or increases the boost cylinder to improve its shear thrust. It can cut high-performance drill pipes such as S-135, V-150, thick-walled, and high-impact strength, and can also achieve the corresponding casing shear. In special working conditions, the preventer needs to achieve shear under certain pressure in the chamber (i.e. pressure shear), and the preventer needs to overcome the pressure in the chamber first and then perform the shearing operation. The matching shear ram seal structure and blade design are reasonable, and can seal the rated working pressure after shearing in one shearing action. The sealing performance is reliable and can achieve multiple shears.
